Buckwheat Biscuits
These buckwheat biscuits with a nutty flavor and tender texture are gluten-free and vegan. Ideal for a healthy snack or breakfast.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup buckwheat flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the buckwheat flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt
Add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients
Mix until a dough forms
Scoop spoonfuls of the dough and shape them into biscuits
Place them on the prepared baking sheet
Gently flatten each biscuit with the back of a fork to create a crisscross pattern
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden around the edges
Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool on a wire rack before serving
