Gluten-Free Air Fryer Mongolian Beef
Enjoy the delicious flavors of Mongolian beef without the gluten, thanks to this easy-to-make air fryer recipe. Perfectly crispy and coated in a savory sauce, it's a family-friendly dish that's sure to please.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp gluten-free soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger
Place sliced flank steak in a ziplock bag and pour in the marinade
Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
Preheat the air fryer to 400F 200C for 5 minutes
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry
Remove the steak from the marinade and toss it with the cornstarch slurry until evenly coated
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray
Place the coated steak slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the beef is crispy and cooked through
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving
